Before the Internet, this type of discussion would have been largely invisible to the patient; probably confined to the letters section of a medical journal. Now all your patients can see “Mom and Dad” arguing. A reasoned argument, to be sure, but what does this do to the doctor-patient relationship? Is it easier or harder?
