Happy Father’s Day…

June 21, 2010

in Reflection

If it was easy, it wouldn’t be as rewarding.

Dads know bunches.

They know that…

you need to watch the ball, always,

you should pay attention while driving, focus,

you need to study hard, so as to procure a good job, (and it might help you be a better blogger some day,)

your injuries will heal,

you shouldn’t worry too much about things yet to happen,

and mostly, that you should help your mom.

It took years to figure out how smart my Dad was.

In my children’s eyes, it is clear that I have yet to progress to such lofty intellectual status, but maybe some day.

don't be so sure about that, children know, they always know, they just don't let on…

Interesting piece in the NYT about a dad and health care for the elderly.
